Hello!

My name is Olivia Richter, and I am a senior at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School. Over the course of SSP, I focused on spending more time exploring passions that have become important parts of my life throughout high school while also trying new activities that pushed me creatively. My main interests during SSP were photography, volunteering, and spending time with friends.

One of the most meaningful parts of my SSP was creating a podcast in Spanish called  Chicas Con Chisme, which quickly became my favorite activity. Through the podcast, I was able to deepen my love of languages while also building confidence in communicating ideas and connecting with others in a more authentic way. I also spent time exploring photography and documentary-style projects connected to music and culture, which allowed me to combine creativity with observation and storytelling.

In addition to these projects, I volunteered within my community and explored new hobbies, including bread making, which became a surprisingly enjoyable creative outlet. While there was not one single theme connecting every activity I pursued, each experience reflected different aspects of my personality and interests and allowed me to spend my final months of high school doing things that felt meaningful, creative, and personally fulfilling.
